We follow the stages recommended by RIBA and the BIID, and varies depending on the scale and scope of the project.

- Establish the project objectives.
- Broadly outline the project budget and programme.
- Define the wider project team and responsibilities.
- Agree the design fee and procurement strategy.

Preparation and Brief

- Discovery workshop to create a detailed client brief.
- Design workshop to loosely define the stylistic direction.
- Conduct site surveys.
- Appoint consultants, if required.

Concept Design
Concept Design
- Set the spatial layout.
- Define the stylistic direction for each room through mood imagery.
- Select base-build (hard) finishes.
- Select architectural details such as coving, skirtings and doors etc.

Developed Design
Developed Design
- Present the design through 3D and/or 2D visuals including bespoke joinery.
- FF&E selection (furniture, rugs, lighting etc) including bespoke items.
- Full material palettes including soft finishes.

Technical Design
Technical Design
- Detail design drawing packages, including joinery and furniture tender drawings.
- Specification schedules for finishes, sanitaryware, ironmongery etc.
- Itemised FF&E schedule including a tender ananlysis document.

Construction & Procurement
Construction & Procurement
- Respond to RFI’s.
- Attend site meetings with wider project team.
- Joinery & FF&E procurement phase, including quality control and FF&E consolidation.
- Sourcing of accessories and art.

Installation & Handover
Installation & Handover
- Site snagging and quality control.
- Overseeing of FF&E installation.
- Styling & photography.
- Production of O&M manuals and other handbooks where necessary.
